Their debut album, Thousand Swords (2010), introduced this distinctive fusion to the metal scene. A darker and more mature evolution of that sound followed in 2014 in the form of their sophomore album, Shogunate Macabre and in 2016 the third Whispered opus coined “Metsutan – Songs of the Void” brought their vision of combining different elements on another level.

Their music and art has brought Whispered critical acclaim internationally, earning recognition for their cross-cultural approach to heavy music. The band has toured throughout Finland, Europe, and Japan, building a solid live reputation and a dedicated fanbase. After several years since their previous release, the long-awaited next album is now set to be released.
