The band consists of Aku Olli (vocals, rhythm guitar), Oskari Hyökyvaara (lead guitar), Aaro Kankaanpää (bass) and Verneri Hyökyvaara (drums). From the beginning, Lust For Lily has focused on writing songs that channel personal themes into a contemporary metalcore framework, balancing aggressive passages with atmospheric melodies.

Their first single, “Wound Up” introduced the band in 2024 and quickly gained traction, landing on Spotify’s Metallia Suomesta playlist. Follow-up releases “Pale Fondness,” “In the Tall Grass,” and “Glitter” expanded their sound and brought growing attention from Finnish metal media and radio. The same year, the band released their debut EP, Relinquish, marking an important step in establishing their identity.

In 2025, Lust For Lily signed with the Finnish label Ranka Kustannus, continuing their rise within the country’s modern metal scene. Their latest single, “Deathbeds” further develops the band’s emotionally charged approach, combining melodic tension with the heavier elements that define their sound.

With a steadily growing catalogue and a clear artistic direction, Lust For Lily represents a young Finnish band exploring the expressive range of modern metalcore while building momentum both on record and on stage.
