The wait is over: LASTOUT’s debut album ’No Safe Way To Feel’ is out now!
The record is a 11-track compilation of melodic progressive metal that blends together raw energy and traditional band elements with production that creates deeply immersive atmospheres. Moreover, the album is entirely written, recorded, and produced by the band – it comes from the minds of young artists trying to keep authentic human-made music alive and well.
”The making of the album has been a difficult and tedious process, but also one that we are immensely grateful for. As a band, this experience has brought us a lot closer to one another and we are extremely excited to be able to release our music out into the world! We have poured our hearts and souls into this project, and it truly is an intense feeling to finally see it complete.”, the band says, and continues to describe the album:
”Our debut album could be described as a metamorphosis of what it is to be human. Relationships, be it romantic or platonic, should be cherished. Being human, means being able to encounter life as a whole, even with all the ups and downs that come with it. There are no such things as ‘bad’ feelings, since even the ability to feel in itself is something powerful. We should never attempt to lessen or weaken our emotions towards a situation or another person, for what makes us whole is the journey we’re on with them. Every hurt, laugh, or cry, should be regarded as something valuable and irreplaceable. Gaining one thing might mean losing another, therefore the intent should always be in experiencing as much as you possibly can. The goal is not about an easy life, it’s about a fulfilling one. You only get to die for having lived.”
